Youngbul Mob is delivered to young Aboriginal males. It consists of 9x 2-hour sessions applying cultural and narrative group practices in ways that support the wellbeing of our young men and boys. Consultations and engagements with the participants, community and other stakeholders are included to ensure the men's needs are central to the delivery of the content.

Details
The workshop integrates cultural, narrative and trauma informed approaches to working with people who have been affected by trauma with a focus on experiences of First Nations men in Central Australia and across the country. Developing our men to be trauma-informed and skilled in their practice is important. Not only does it provide opportunity for men to participate in the collective healing of our communities, it through deeper understanding of what trauma is and how it shows up in our lives.

“Being on Country was a powerful way to learn about trauma and how to hold space for others on this sensitive subject. (The workshop is) a reminder to care for yourself to walk alongside others on their healing journey.”
